My name is Ken Jarvis, I am 55 years old and live in Southern Ontario in the Town of Whitchurch/Stouffville. Upon request I could be available for on location portrait or event photography. I do not have or work from a studio; I will go to a place of your choice for a more personalized experience. I mainly do event photography for family, acquaintances, friends or friends of friends. I am willing to do work for others if requested.

Sporting events
With my zoom lens I can get in close for a shot like this one. For action scenes like this one continuous shooting set on the camera (my Canon 40D will shoot 6.5 fps) will capture and freeze the scene just at the right time.

Portraits
Family, personal or pet portraits can be taken at a place of your choice. This photo was taken for a customer at a local park in the winter. I added special effects with Photoshop to give the picture a more dramatic look.

Weddings
I have photographed several small weddings mainly for acquaintances or friends. I can do an entire day of shooting starting with the wedding preparation, preparation of the banquet hall, the wedding itself and the party if desired.

Product Shots
Product shots are useful if your selling an item on eBay or you need a photo for insurance or if you just want a shot like this example to frame in your home. The use of a light box produces even no-shadow light, reduced reflections and no background seam. The photo shown here is a 10" model of a Dodge Viper shot in a light tent. Product photography increases sales and lends professionalism and credibility to products and the people selling them. It also makes your products look their absolute best. The results are beautifully clean, crisp images that show your products in their best light. For small products I use a light tent and two 5500k daylight bulbs with stands. This equipment is portable so it is possible for me to travel to a place of your choice. It is possible to photograph larger products if the conditions are right.

* Remove unwanted subjects from photo

* Add a subject or person to a new photo
* Add frames or boarders
* Use selective colours in a Black & White Photo (ie.)Colour one part of the photo and leave the rest of the photo B&W
